Build your own guitar! Now you have the opportunity to take a course at Nordwall Instrument.

• Private course for 1 person of approximately 100 hours, you don't have to share the workshop with other course participants, no waiting time and full focus on just you.
• Accommodation is included. Materials are also included.
• You choose which instrument you want to build from all Nordwall models. Both guitars and folk instruments.
• Possibility to design your own headstock shape, bridge shape and trussrodcover shape.

Mats Nordwall offers courses in instrument building in my workshop on Ingmarsö. The course is now 2 weeks long (including weekends) full-time, and only 1 person per course. The course fee also includes accommodation in the guest cottage next to the workshop.
You have the opportunity to choose from all standard models that are included in my range and you manufacture your instrument according to the same process as all Nordwall instruments, i.e. from raw material to finished instrument. Surface treatment is done with a few layers of matt varnish or oil. 
All materials needed for the instrument are included in the course fee (standard materials, special options can in some cases be made at an extra cost)
No prior knowledge is required to take the course other than a strong interest in music and crafts, and that you are good at listening and taking in instructions, and that you are prepared to work hard and intensively for two weeks, 8 hours a day (9-18, lunch 12-13). I am always on hand and instruct every step, answer questions about guitar building and other things, and help with the building if needed.

The course fee is EU: 3.045€, US or outside EU: 3.625$ (swedish VAT included)

When registering, you pay a registration fee of 450 Euro/500 USD (non-refundable) and the remaining amount must be paid before the start of the course.

Course dates are determined in consultation between the course participant and Nordwall Instrument.
